The Snow Festival took place on Friday afternoon after the Winter Walk. A BIG Thank You to our Gr. 9 class & Mr. Trenton Wierenga for organizing the events. Everyone had lots of fun!

NPCS students and staff participated in the Winter Walk on Fri., Feb. 28. It was a beautiful, warm day and everyone enjoyed the walk around the hamlet. When they returned to school they were served hot chocolate & cookies by the Parent Council and then did some fun Snow Fest activities to finish the day.

Gr. 8/9 Boys team and Jr. High Girls Basketball teams both brought home silver medals from the Pembina Hills Divisional tournament. Our Christmas Assembly was held in our gym on Dec. 19th at 2:30 pm.  The students participated in songs and readings (Gr. 4 students) that told the Christmas Story. Students had a fun day as they had the opportunity to come to school in their comfy PJs!  Many of them dressed up but we caught a picture of the Gr. 1 class in front of our Christmas tree in the Foyer.

The staff and students were presented with a cheque for $500. from Mrs. Denise Stoik, representative of Farm Credit Canada (FCC). A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that brought in items for L.A.M.P. There was lots of food items, baby items & clothing/shoes, etc. that were packed up on Tues. morning. Brian & Judy Luckhardt will be delivering these donations to Hall Lake school in Northern Saskatchewan for Christmas. THANKS for your kind generosity!

St. Nick came to visit the NPCS students today.  He started visiting the Kindergarten students and worked his way up through the younger elementary classes. Lots of fun was had by all!

Students were very excited to participate in the Rocks & Rings (indoor curling) in the gym on Thurs., Nov. 21! Each class got time to participate and learn about the great sport of curling. Thanks to Trent who came out from Curling Canada to demonstrate & instruct the students.

Congratulations to our Gr. 8/9 Girls Volleyball Team that won Gold at Zone playoffs in Whitecourt on Nov. 6, 2019. Way to go team!
