At our assembly today (Wed., Mar. 22) we were privileged to have two members of the Royal Canadian Legion present cheques to some of our students that won in the Remembrance Day contest (last Nov.). Mr. Herman Barkemeyer (service officer for the legion) and Mr. Steve Bablitz (member at large) did the presentations. We had winners in black & white posters, colour posters, poems & essays.
