At NPCS it was a great start to the school year. We started off with a fantastic pancake breakfast served to us by parent volunteers from our Parent Council (NCES) & Jennifer Tuininga (Pembina Hills Trustee & Board Chairperson) and cooks from Coutts River Logging. After the breakfast we had an assembly in the gym to announce new staff members, talk about our plans for a great year and blessings, prayers & songs were shared.

We had guest speakers:  Mr. Brett Cooper (Assistant Superintendent of PH Schools), Mrs. Jennifer Tuininga (Board Chair) & Mrs. Sheri Strydhorst (NCES Chair).

We are off to a great start and hope it will continue throughout this 2019 2020 school year.

Our attendance is up from previous years – we now have 203 students and 25 staff members.
