Tues., April 16 – Jr. High Badminton tournament at BCHS (9:15 am – 4:00 pm). Students will be going by bus.
Tues., April 16, 7:30 pm – Library Book Club: discussing “The Brilliant Life of Eudora Honeysett”. Copies are available if you would like to join them.
Wed., April 17 – Gr. 4 students to tour the Westlock Waste Treatment plant. This will be in the morning only – students will eat lunch once they return around 12:15 – 12:30 *Parents: please make sure field trip forms have been completed online before this trip.
Wed., April 17 – NCES Taco in a Bag orders to be returned to school. The lunch will take place on Wed., May 1.
Thurs., April 18 – Book Character Day (changed from April 25) – dress up as your favourite book character.
Thurs., April 18 – Grade 9s going to BCHS for high school transition/CTS presentations. *Parents: please complete field trip permission forms online before Thurs.
Thurs., April 18 – Jr. High CTF Quarter 4 classes to begin.
Thurs., April 18 – Gr. 4 Ice Cream Sundae order forms to go home (Sale will be on Thurs., April 25 – need orders returned by Apr. 22 – cash only @ $.4.00 each). This is a fundraiser for the Gr. 4 class.
Friday, April 19 – PD day for teachers only, no classes
Looking ahead:
We are excited that we will be celebrating Christian Education Week (Apr. 22-25). We will be hosting a Grandparent’s/Senior Friends’ Tea on Wed., April 24 (10-11) followed by tours (11-11:30). Invitations have been sent home with students to give to their grandparents or special senior friends. We ask that everyone RSVP no later than Mon., Apr. 22 by calling Debbie Fisher (780-674-5581) or email: debbie.fisher@pembinahills.ca
Wed., April 24 – Open House for new registrations & Kindergarten students. We invite all new families to come visit us between 4:00 – 5:00 pm. Come meet the teachers, see the Kindergarten classroom (or others) and have a tour of the school if you wish. All registrations must be done online (no paper forms) – access on Pembina Hills website.
