Here is an update on Jr. High Exams and activities on the last days of school this year.
Gr 9 Final Exams are Provincial Achievement Tests (PATs). There will be a PAT on Tuesday, June 16 (max 1 hr). There will be regular classes after these exams are done. These exams are in addition to the exams listed on the schedule below (PATs – June 19, 22 and 23). Gr 9 students will go to Edmonton for a Whirlwind Tour on June 18. Forms and Fees for this trip are available online (PowerSchool Parent Portal).
Gr 7 & 8 students will have final exams on June 18, 19, 22 and 23. Gr 7 & 8 Students will go swimming on the afternoon of June 18. All form and fees for this event must be in by Thursday, June 11.
Also for Gr 7 & 8 students, parents may choose to have their child exempt from one exam in a course for which they have 80% or higher. Exemption from an exam does not mean students are exempt from final projects or exam review. If you would like to have your child exempted from an exam, please email your child’s homeroom teacher and/or the school office.
